How you spend your time?

for people who don't fancy time management, try below:

1. Use an activity log
Example:
Time Activity Minutes used Priority

Write down what time you do exactly what for how long....
to the very very detail like going toilet or going to cafeteria or even when you are thinking about your boyfriend or girlfriend (ops, haha)...

then prioritise each activity to:
A priorities involve your critical goal. Task with high value and primary concern. for me it's do homework, study, do past year question, revision - everything relating to JUNE 2008 EXAM.

B priorities - enabling goals - activities indirectly support your critical goals. There are tasks with medium value and high degree of urgency. mine can be bath, changing, eating, going toilet, reading magazine, watching tv(which should be C priorities but B for me), meet up with friends, chit chat, basketball, taekwando, jujitsu, online, blogging..etc etc

C priorities - little value. personally, it's daydreaming, journey from home to college in car, reading people's blog, playing utopia(ops, i think utopia should be A priority), washing dishes(like i have a choice), tidying drawer, blog hopping...

2. Analyse activity log.
my personal professional opinion : you will realise that you spend a lot of time on B & C priorities. we should spend very little of C-priority and try to minimise B-priority. by doing this, we realise that 'hey, we actually have a lot of time'.
then again, we shouldn't spend too much time on A-priority unless exam is coming.

3. Change activities.
this will be hard but it's worth to try...(though i haven try yet. when i do,if i do, then i will post the result.)

after trying the activity log of your daily life, how was it? spending your time efficiently?

"Time waits for no man"

Time is like a wasting-asset that goes / pass by and can't be bought back / refill.
it ticks every second and tock the next minute. it never stops moving (unless you have Hiro nakamura's power to stop time) till until we stop.

Harvard Business Essentials
one way to look at it is to spend your time wisely and efficiently - wise one
or
filled it with all the fun and joy till you get bored of 'fun' - wealthy one
or
don't bother about it, just do what you feel like doing - smart one
or
spend every moment with special meaning and reason and love - THE true one
